A bike ride, like everything else, is as good as you make it. So, if you don’t know where to, or would like a change of scenery, search for places of interest to find bike trails around you.

If you want to find specific trails, look into apps like AllTrails, Gaia GPS, or TrailLink to find the best places where you can ride your bike. With trail-specific apps, you can customize your preferences to find places for road cycling, MTB, gravel, BMX, and so on. Most bike trails have parking areas nearby.
When you enter a national or state park riding a bicycle, most of the time, you don’t have to pay the parking or entrance fee. However, if you go to a park on an e-bike, you’ll have to ask it’s OK to ride it in that park or trails ahead of time; since these have different features, they are not allowed in certain trails and national parks.
