When you want unexpected challenges, fun, and thrills, you choose mountain biking. Mountain bikes are for off-road trails, dirt, and hard surface terrains. Hitting MTB trails means you’ll ride shorter distances but, you’ll find more frequent sharp and steep climbs, cliffs, rocks, river crossings, and wilderness from start to finish. MTB has numerous health benefits. For example, it can help you build up strength, flexibility, stamina, and balance. It also supports focus and coordination.
In Ventura County, between Camarillo and Thousand Oaks, you’ll find Santa Rosa Valley Park. You’ll find a decent parking lot, free to use, and restrooms in the equestrian area. It has 50 acres of land where you can go hiking, horseback riding, wilderness exploring, and mountain biking. If you’re in the area, this can be an option to try your MTB-skills. Some trails connect to Wildwood Regional Park. Most of the trails are wide and clean, perfect for kids, families, and MTB-beginners. Other trails are more suitable for technical riders since they are thin, close to cliffs, or steeper.
