Sometimes we feel the need to escape the ordinary. When I get that feeling, and whenever possible, I search for a new place, take my bike, and explore. It’s been a while since I moved to California, and even though I visited Santa Barbara a few times already, I didn’t get a chance to go bike riding; until yesterday.

Other times, I feel the trails calling. Feels good to take a break from the city noises and get into the woods. You’ll find yourself in places cars can’t take you to. Every bike ride feels like a little travel. I’ve only been to a few spots for mountain biking. Today I wanted to go to take in the always beautiful Malibu ocean view but also wanted to get into the woods; so, I did both.
