Cycling life takes me to beautiful, unusual, and incredible places.

Have you ever seen a river of sand? I guess this is what it looks like, and it was my first time seeing one. I’m from the Caribbean. I’m used to seeing waterfalls, and of course, water on rivers! I was riding around Camarillo and found this place, thanks to another cyclist. I’ve been trying to know Ventura, County little by little. The river is called, Arroyo Las Posas. Arroyo means creek, and on this one, all you see is water.

I’m not familiar with the area, so I’m not sure of the last time the ”perennial stream” held water and fish, but, maybe we should thank development for that, besides climate change and drought.
